Beginner Womens Tournament Series 2020

Squash BOP has partnered with our friends in the Waikato to develop a new Womens only tournament series for beginners! There are 10 events in 2020, and they are open to graded & ungraded women over 18 years of age.  The idea is to provide a fun environment for ladies to mingle and enjoy squash in a comfortable space.  A cool way for women to have their first crack at competitive squash!! Three NZ Junior Champions!

The Bay has three new champions as the NZ Junior National Age Group Champs concluded in Auckland over the weekend.  Twenty Bay of Plenty juniors descended on the National Squash Centre to compete in the pinnacle event for junior squash in NZ.  Players compete in their age groups (U11, U13, U15, U17, U19) against the best from across the country for the right to be crowned a national champion. Superchamps Champions Crowned

HEAD 900 Series Results

The 2019 HEAD Junior 900 Series has been a ripper this year!  9 events, over 100 kids, 436 entries, and a whole lot of fun!  The last event was held at Devoy Squash on Sunday, and it was a fantastic occasion.  The series points table has been hotly contested this year, and it came down tot he last match to decide who would round out the top 5 and grab the major HEAD prizes. Three-Peat for BOP Womens Team

BOP Junior Team 2019

The Bay of Plenty Junior Team to compete in the Junior Inter-District Teams event has been selected.  BOP has a strong history in the junior nationals, and this year's team is sure to continue the districts strong showing. BOP Junior Open 2019

The 2019 installment of the annual Bay of Plenty Junior Open was held over the weekend at Te Puke Squash Club.  The event saw a huge attendance increase on recent years with 76 of our brightest juniors (and their parents) descending on the club.  The event ran right through the week with matches played from Tuesday – Saturday.  The hosts did an awesome job and the kids had a blast.  It was great to see some of our newest graded players rubbing shoulders with our ‘veteranâ...

New Format for Spring Interclub

Superchamps Winners

The District Superchamps Eliminations were held at clubs around the bay last weekend (28-30 June).  45 teams from various clubs fought it out for the right to represent the Bay at Nationals in September. Pak n Save BOP Open boasts a strong field

Womens 900 Series a Success

Autumn Interclub Results

The first installment of interclub for 2019 is complete.  Autumn interclub this year was a short, sharp 6 week round with most divisions completing a round robin followed by a final.
