BOP Junior Open 2019

The 2019 installment of the annual Bay of Plenty Junior Open was held over the weekend at Te Puke Squash Club.  The event saw a huge attendance increase on recent years with 76 of our brightest juniors (and their parents) descending on the club.

The event ran right through the week with matches played from Tuesday – Saturday.  The hosts did an awesome job and the kids had a blast.  It was great to see some of our newest graded players rubbing shoulders with our ‘veteran’ juniors.  I’m sure the younger kids gleaned a huge amount of inspiration watching the top kids perform.

The titles this year went to Glenn Templeton & Manaia Peeti who both took home top honours in their respective open draws
