Junior Quadrangular Team Named

The Bay of Plenty Junior Quadrangular Team to face Northland, Waikato & Auckland has been announced.  The selectors are pleased with the team that includes a few new faces that join many returning BOP reps.

The event will be staged at Whangarei Squash Club on 23-25 March.  Two players from each age group (U11, U13, U15, U17, U19) for both boys and girls play their counterparts from the other regions.  The winner of each tie is determined by the total matches won.  he Bay has had a proud history in the event, winning the trophy on several occasions.  In recent years Auckland has dominated and that trend looks set to continue.  The Bay will fight hard an hopefully push them all the way for title.

It is a fantastic opportunity for players to gauge themselves against some of the best juniors in the country as well as getting a taste of rep squash in a team environment.
