The National Graded Championships and Senior Nationals lit up North Shore Squash Club at the start of July, with seven courts pumping full throttle all weekend. The combined event format received glowing feedback from players and spectators alike, delivering thrilling, close-fought matches and an electric atmosphere.
After several years away from the National Graded Champs (formerly Champion of Champions), Squash Bay of Plenty made a remarkable return, finishing second overall in the coveted Ossies Champion of Champion District Trophy standings. Central claimed top honours, with BOP hot on their heels and Waikato rounding out the top three.
Bay of Plenty brought home some hardware, with two national title wins and a runner-up finish among many other solid performances.
