Using fun games rather than formal routines, Kiwi Squash is the national junior squash programme for New Zealand primary and intermediate school-aged children.
Kiwi Squash offers a fun holistic experience for young people wanting to get involved in squash and consists of two stages designed specifically for the following ages:
Small Nix: for 5-8 year olds (school years 1-4) designed to develop fundamental movement skills, learn fun squash activities and improve their speed and agility.
Big Nix: for 9-12 year olds (school years 5-8) designed to progress skills to include general movement, squash coordination, technique and strategy through a range of activities and games.
Squash Bay of Plenty offers a range of options tailored to suit the school/club. Please contact us if your club or school is interested in establishing a program
