The 2018 HEAD Junior 900 Series has begun with an awesome event hosted by Putaruru Squash Club. 38 budding J-Grade juniors took part and a great day was had by all. The HEAD 900 Series is for J-Grade players and is a perfect introduction to competitive squash. The kids are able to learn about tournaments and play against other kids who are also starting out in the sport. There were several kids who were playing their first ever tournament.
Emphasis is given to good behaviour and at each event two nominees for Best & Fairest are chosen. At Putaruru, Izayah Double and Kendall Young were the chosen two for their fantastic performances.
