World Womens Team ChampionshipsVolunteers Required Sport Manawatu are calling for volunteers to help out at the World Womens Team Championships from 27 November - 5 December 2010 in Palmerston North. If interested read on.... Volunteer forms If you haven’t already, can you please fill out the online volunteer registration form so I have all your details and availability for the WWTSC? This is at the Sport Manawatu website here: http://www.sportmanawatu.org.nz/modules/SP_form_builder/form.php?140 This is a generic form which asks for a lot of information; you will see the likes of “volunteer Interviews” etc. Some of this is irrelevant as you are all ‘known’ to the team, but it is more for when you are available during the champs, contact details and allocation of jobs, and particularly important for volunteers who are not familiar to the club. Police Check forms There is also a downloadable POLICE CHECK form on this page. Please all fill them out. This is a formality, but very important part of the volunteer process all the same. These police check forms can then be faxed to Sport Manawatu at 06 358 1178, or emailed to website@sportmanawatu.org.nz PLEASE SUBMIT YOUR FORMS BY FRIDAY 5PM, it will give us a better view of how many volunteers we still need, and will certainly get the ball rolling. PASS IT ON Please pass this email onto your contacts. I will have Steph (new Events Coordinator here at SM) send it out to the current Volunteer database to determine who else in the community is interested. YOU will know a lot of people that are keen to volunteer and I am relying on you to help with the recruitment drive.
