Galatea Squash Club is situated in the heart of Galatea on Mangamate Road. A great community club, Galatea also has some up and coming squash stars, Ian and Craig Trenberth who both represented the Bay of Plenty in 2006. They join past BOP and NZ representatives Awhina Chapman and Lenora Hati on the honours board for the club. Squash is a great sport for the farming community, allowing locals to keep fit indoors during the cold Galatea winter with club nights, interclub and tournaments. So come along and have a go!
